I designed the Linksys network management app: router setup, firmware updates, and ongoing monitoring across every connected device on the network.
Venom is Linksys's internal codename for the WRT32X, an AC3200 dual-band gaming router built around a dual-core 1.8GHz processor and Killer Prioritization Engine. I designed the router's companion dashboard: real-time download and upload speed, Wi-Fi health by band, CPU and firewall performance, and device-by-device prioritization for the games and PCs that need it most.
The app walks users through router setup and firmware updates, then gives them an ongoing view of every device on the network: what's connected, how much bandwidth it's using, and when something needs attention. It's since grown to an active install base of over 25 million devices worldwide.
