iZotope AI Ecosystem

I co-led this alongside our senior product owner and a five-person skunkworks team, tackling a problem hiding in plain sight: five products, five different assistants, no shared name, no shared logic, and no way for any of them to talk to each other.

One assistant, everywhere.

Overview

Now even bedroom producers have a production assistant, and seasoned pros get an immediate starting point.

Five products, five assistants, each built independently and each teaching users something to unlearn in the next tool. We proposed one assistant instead, with skills unlocked per product under a shared internal system we called OPA. It puts a real production assistant within reach of a bedroom producer and gives a seasoned engineer an immediate starting point instead of a blank canvas. Since launch, it's shipped in nearly every product in the portfolio and driven an 80% increase in assistive technology adoption.

Focus on Unification & Trust

One System, Six Skills

Every assistant now shares the same processing under the hood and the same interaction model above it, so learning one means already knowing the rest.

One System, Six Skills

Proactive by Design

The system listens like a second set of ears, surfacing relevant suggestions and getting smarter with every session instead of waiting to be asked.

Proactive by Design

Built to Be Trusted

Every suggestion is grounded in the user's actual audio, never a blind preset, so the assistant earns the right to be trusted with real work.
